What to listen to in French

In my second year at university, I spent six months trying to learn Swedish. Why? It’s hard to say, which probably explains why I can’t call the experience a success. When it became unbearable, I remember trying to give the language a second chance: I borrowed a stack of CDs by Swedish artists from my teacher, listened to them that evening and realized I wasn’t prepared to make such sacrifices for those songs. Perhaps I should have chosen different CDs.

With French it was different from the very beginning. I don’t know what could be more beautiful than songs in this language.

So suddenly you are tired and don’t know how to find the “path” to your heart, try listening to these performers.
