Radio in French
People often ask me to recommend French-language radio stations for listening practice. I finally got around to putting together a list.
It is difficult to say what exactly is good about one or another radio station from those that I have compiled for you in a long list. Each covers world news, current affairs and what worries people all over the world. But each has its own application that you may like or vice versa. I advise you to download everything and select.
And here are the names: ⠀
- RTL – news releases, reports, author's programs about what is happening in the world. I like it best. ⠀
- France Inter ⠀
- France Info and ⠀
- RFI - radio stations about everything in the world, news, current things online and on repeat ⠀
- France Bleu – news from around the world or from the region of your choice
- RMC Sport – for everyone who cares about sports.
And if you are not a fan of “jumping” from application to application, then you can install «Radios France », « Radio FM » or « France Radio » and there you can listen to all French radio stations at once, though only online, without recording past episodes and without a program guide.
As for me, radio helps you train to hear speech without any unnecessary hassles: put an earphone in your ear and listen as much as you like, especially if you find a program you like.
As a child, I remember, we developed listening skills based on the weather forecast - the task was not to miss which classes did not go to school due to frost, and to do this, remember everything that was said during the broadcast. Then I still had to call my classmates to make them happy. Did you do that too?
