French TV series from A1 to C2

I wouldn’t be surprised if many of you, like me, spend your weekends glued to your computer and Netflix. So today I’m sharing a list of French series you won’t be able to stop watching.

I watched each one in one day, forgetting about sleep and food. Be careful, they are really exciting.

So:

  • La Mante (‘The Mantis’) is a gripping crime series about a female serial killer who helps investigate crimes that resemble her own.
  • Le Chalet (Chalet) – childhood friends decide to meet in their home village, but find themselves cut off from the rest of the world and forced to save their lives from an unknown maniac “from the past.”
  • La Trêve (Truce) - the body of a young football player was found in a small Belgian village near the Suicide Bridge. For the local police everything is obvious, but not for the inspector from Brussels, who is sure that this is someone’s work.
  • Transferts (Transfer) - a thriller about the future and new technologies. The main character wakes up after a 5-year coma, but in someone else's body.

I would try these series with a level of A2 or higher, especially if you are willing to stop and open a dictionary sometimes.

"To the Chiefs"Those who do not yet want to watch unadapted things will find the site www.lefrafa.ru useful, where there are two educational series:

  • Extr@ – 13 episodes
  • Reflets – 26 episodes with explanations and exercises

However, everything listed can be viewed in both Russian and English. I think that these series will not become less interesting.
