Ideally, observe how you spend your day and map out your schedule. Include work, walks with the children, household chores, meals and downtime.

When you have a detailed picture in front of you, you can find windows for studying.

But what to do if there is not so much a window in your schedule, but not even a crack for studying?

Pay attention to the times when you can combine training with something else. You can spend a long time wondering how to allocate two hours for a full-fledged lesson “at the table”. But, believe me, you will achieve results much faster if you cook with an audiobook on, or complete a couple of tasks while you are languishing, say, in line.

If it is vital for you to “sit with a book”, find out for starters, what time of day are you most productive. Some people start swinging only in the evening, while others move mountains in the morning and fulfill the plan for a couple of days.

Study during your “cheerful” hours. If in the evening, for example, you are very heavy, children are circling around and you just want to relax with a “serial” (insert your own version) - no matter how hard you try, studying will be difficult. The only thing that can be accepted at such a time is a film in a foreign language. Although even here your family may be indignant - invite them to turn on subtitles, let them read and enjoy the real voices of foreign actors. ⠀

Create an environment around you:

• Set your phone and computer to the language you are studying.
• Listen more.
• Read the news, subscribe to foreign bloggers.
• Translate your thoughts and speak out what you see. Let the voices in your head work for you.

Don't set too high goals. They will demotivate you.

Don't bury yourself in textbooks – it’s boring and leads to burnout. Then the language no longer becomes a joy.

Your approach should depend on your main goal.
