WHO THIS IS FOR

Your application is largely ready

This service is for people preparing and submitting their own Express Entry application to IRCC who want their completed package reviewed before submission.

  • The main forms are complete.
  • The documents have been collected.
  • Any additional evidence and explanations needed for your application are ready.

If key documents are still missing or most forms are not ready, it may be too early for a full review. In that case, a consultation is a better starting point.

Family information and claimed points

  • compare information about every family member listed in the application across forms and documents;
  • check the information used to claim points and the documents supporting those claims;

Work, education and language

  • cross-check your employment history against employer documents;
  • review education documents, Educational Credential Assessments (ECAs), language test results and other evidence used in the application;

Finances and immigration history

  • review proof of funds, including bank documents, statements, transfers between accounts and prepared explanations;
  • compare the current application with relevant previous immigration history, including earlier applications and refusals;

Certificates, translations and explanations

  • review documents and prepared explanations relating to medical examinations and police certificates;
  • check that the translations are complete;
  • review your prepared Letter of Explanation (LOE);

Timeline and package completeness

  • cross-check work, address and travel histories to identify gaps, conflicting dates and other inconsistencies;
  • check the package for missing documents, unsupported information and issues that need further explanation.

The list above sets out the main areas of review and is not exhaustive. Any other inconsistencies, gaps or issues identified during the review that may matter to your submission will also be noted in the feedback.

You receive written feedback with specific recommendations on what to correct, add or explain before submission.

HOW IT WORKS

How the application review works

From the preliminary questionnaire to the check of corrections — six steps in order.

Step 01 of 06Preliminary questionnaire

The preliminary questionnaire helps us define the scope of the review.

  • who is included in the application;
  • the main features of your case;
  • your intended submission date.

Step 02 of 06Fee and agreement

Before work begins, we agree on:

  • the scope of the review;
  • the exact fee;
  • the timeline.

All terms are recorded in the Service Agreement.

Step 03 of 06Complete package and review

You provide the complete agreed set of documents. The main review begins when we receive it.

  • the standard review period is 7 business days;
  • we review the forms, documents and explanations as one package;
  • we record any inconsistencies and corrections needed.

Step 04 of 06Written feedback

You receive one document with comments and recommendations covering:

  • what to correct;
  • what to add;
  • what needs explaining;
  • which issues to discuss separately at the meeting.

Step 05 of 06Online meeting

After the review, we hold a 50-minute online meeting.

We discuss the feedback and the order of corrections, and answer additional questions about the package reviewed.

Step 06 of 06One follow-up check

After you make the changes, we check once whether:

  • the original feedback has been addressed;
  • documents requested as a result of the review have been added;
  • the changes have introduced any obvious inconsistencies.

This checks corrections arising from the original review. It is not a second full review of the entire application.

Your fee is fixed before work begins

From CAD 650+ tax

After the preliminary questionnaire, we define the scope of the review and agree on the exact fee.

Factors that may affect the fee

  • the number of people included in the application;
  • the nature and extent of work experience to be documented, including employment and self-employment, the number of employers and periods of work;
  • the volume of financial documents and translations;
  • a complex timeline, previous applications, refusals or other non-standard circumstances;
  • the urgency of the review.

The number of issues identified does not increase the agreed fee.

If the actual scope differs significantly from the preliminary questionnaire, or the review identifies an issue outside the agreed scope, we first explain what additional work is needed.

We agree its scope and fee with you before any additional work begins.

The availability, timeline and fee for an urgent review are also agreed before work begins.

Request a review

You prepare and submit your own application

Under this service, you complete the forms, collect the documents and prepare the necessary explanations yourself, then share the finished package for review through an agreed file-sharing location.

The consultant reviews the prepared package for completeness, consistency, supporting evidence and issues that need correction or further explanation before submission.

Under this service, the consultant does not complete the application for you, submit it on your behalf or act as your authorized representative before IRCC.

A review does not guarantee approval, the absence of further requests from IRCC or a particular processing time. IRCC makes the decision; involving a consultant does not give an application priority.

The review does not include

  • completing an application or individual forms from scratch;
  • submitting an application on your behalf or acting as your authorized representative;
  • writing a new Letter of Explanation (LOE) from scratch;
  • preparing documents on behalf of an employer, bank or other source;
  • monitoring the case after submission, corresponding with IRCC or preparing responses to later requests;
  • third-party services: translations, obtaining police certificates, Educational Credential Assessments (ECAs), medical examinations, notarization or other external services.
