How to move to Canada: our story – part 11
In the case of our immigration, new circumstances suddenly emerged. Read the beginning of the story here
I can’t bear just sitting around waiting and doing nothing. So I found myself a little ‘entertainment’: I ordered a detailed extract from our case file. It’s a document showing every development in the file in great detail. ⠀
Not everyone orders it and not often. Officially, it takes a month to do it, but as practice shows, before, before Covid, people sometimes managed to receive a request for a passport for a visa faster than to wait for an extract. ⠀ But since I was stressed by how extensively and evasively they answered me the last time about our case, I still decided to try something new. Surprisingly, the extract arrived on the agreed terms. ⠀
120 pages of text, consisting mainly of abbreviations and abbreviations in small print. ⠀
Here you will break your eyes before you understand what is really happening. But I’m still Hercule with a magnifying glass. ⠀
As a result, I found the phrase “The case is ready for approval” and it would have been time to calm down on this, but the inner detective had already awakened and gone wild. ⠀ In the end, in fact, there is no approval itself. Search, Herkyulchik, search...
And I found it. Some completely incomprehensible strange recording. ⠀ I had to go to Google, where it was discovered that such a postscript was made to several people, and at about the same time. From which I concluded that this post appeared precisely in connection with Covid. And it roughly means that all considerations have been suspended for now due to the pandemic. ⠀
In short, a final decision is definitely not expected in the near future. And even if it did happen, the borders are still closed, we won’t be able to leave anywhere. ⠀
On this note, I once again decided to relax, accept the situation as it is now, live for today, buy new clothes without thinking about moving, and so on... ⠀
But before surrendering to this decision with all my soul, for some reason I looked into my case again. And I found an update there. One of the officers came in again and looked... For some reason, the date of our medical examination was removed. ⠀
And again a lot of questions, worries, expectations. Here's how to relax and live in peace....?
