When I first set out on this path, I had no idea how much time and effort it would actually take. After reading other consultants’ stories, I naively assumed that getting licensed was a clear, logical process with predictable timelines.

But precisely at the moment when I myself decided to start, the system staged a global restructuring. The regulator took a tough approach to optimization and closed dubious “gray” schemes, essentially transferring all training to just two Canadian universities.
Universities immediately began to dictate their terms. This whole process stretched out before our eyes, turning into an endless series of stages.

Of course, it was impossible to predict everything. In some places I acted strictly according to the instructions, and in others I even played it safe and did unnecessary things. For example, for some reason I went to take an exam in French, although my university education was already enough to prove it! 🙈 But it was an experience.

Looking back now: 3.5 years have passed from that first tentative idea to today.
And to say that I worked hard for a good half of this period is to say nothing. Physically, mentally, emotionally.

K why all this one long story?
Today I officially received my licence as a Canadian immigration consultant.

This long journey is over. And at the same time, it is just beginning - the most interesting things are ahead.

❤️ I want say huge thank you to everyone who supported me, and especially to those who trusted me with their situations back when I was just waiting for this status. It is incredibly interesting for me to deal with each case, delve into the details and help you find solutions.

Ahead of me lies a smooth and conscious transition from one professional activity to another. But I will celebrate and reflect deeply a little later.

Right now the final boss awaits me - bureaucracy: I need to take out professional insurance, open a client account and settle a dozen more technical details.

But the main thing is done. Officially. The step into a new professional life has been completed.
