Second-term results

The results came in, the second trimester was officially over - it lasted from January to April.
That is an event in itself, because after a fall when I nearly had a nervous breakdown trying to juggle everything at once, January felt like a breath of fresh air. I had one fewer course, Fridays were free, and I suddenly realized that the most demanding, intimidatingly practical subjects — the ones where you have to know exactly what comes next — were already behind me. I could go back and study them calmly later.
In addition, the university itself seemed to warn in advance: if you are going to full-time, be prepared that the first trimester will be the hardest. I thought: well, if I passed it, then the second one is almost a vacation. Spoiler: “almost vacation” lasted until mid-February And then the first introductory exams came, and it became clear that everything was not so simple.
There was a lot of material. And although there were fewer papers and exams than in the fall, this time the teachers gathered as if by casting: each with their own difficulties. Some people simply explained things in a confusing way, but that never scared me. I know how to get to the bottom of things - all available resources went into battle.
This trimester I became especially close to my classmates. A support group appeared, and this, however, kept a lot afloat. But there were also things that I could not influence in any way - for example, the organization of certain processes. In one of the subjects, the “correction négative” principle was used twice in exams - as a result of which I received my C+.

I still have mixed feelings about this grade. The subject is useful for my work, and I understood it. But the course came with so many confusing requirements that I eventually decided to let go: I couldn’t control someone else’s stream of consciousness, so what would be, would be. That makes this ‘C+’ just as valuable to me as my other A’s. I earned it honestly, and it was hard-won. My final mark was right on the boundary between B- and C+, but the instructor rounded down — which was his decision to make.
The main thing is that I passed. And this assessment does not in any way prevent me from moving on. The new trimester has already begun - just one subject that is going intensively but quickly. This means there will be more time left to prepare for the practical exam.
So I congratulate myself. I think I did a great job. There's one last push left. And there, maybe even enjoy the summer a little. Well, at least try.
